Id probably be all fingers & thumbs & nervous anyway ! He is a wide angle with a medium apperture chap whereas i tend to be tele with small apperture due to my wedding portrait & sport photography background- so next time I go out Im only taking my wide angle lens.I also learn from some of the talented younger generation too.

I'm trying to push him away from artistic nudes (as we all know its an area he has mastered) and I wanna push him more into glamour and fashion photography :)

Ive seen some of his "dark" photos with a blonde lady with dreads & yes they too are great.Maybe Im getting old but to me glamour is like Marlena dietrich or Helmut Newton style which I like but not chicks in bikinis on a car as I think that is a bit demeaning to the model (but they really seem to like it & I have done that type of photography but find it a bit boring)

I have a sculptor friend who has produced a "Marlena" & I always thought he would have an eye for photography so I gave him a camera & sure enough he has.He now paints from his photos.I had another friend also from wellington who was a sculptor & photographer who was into bondage type images but very soft not horrible damsel in distress type shots (I dont think they would offend your grandmother)but he killed himself about a month ago
